Being good about following advice of HVAC techs

I was honestly glad when I purchased a lake house and had a brand new heating and A/C system installed, but I had new air ducts installed and everything, but well, that was approximately a decade ago and more recently I started having trouble with air quality and our heating and A/C system seemed to be struggling.

I thought it was unusual because it was only more than nine years old.

When I had a nearby heating and A/C professional come out to tell myself and others what was happening, she discovered that our air ducts system was restrained severely; she asked when was the last time I had our air ducts cleaned, and I realized that I never had that done. She said there were likely many clogs within our air ducts system and she instantly advised air ducts cleaning. She also said she would check the air ducts system and test the air pressure to see if I needed air ducts sealing as well. She explained that the air ducts sealing would ensure no leaks were occurring and I would save on the energy costs. Well, the air ducts cleaning improved the air quality in our lake house considerably and our heating and A/C performed care about a champ again. I absolutely didn’t even need the air ducts sealing because surprisingly, the heating and A/C professional found no leaks in the air duct system. I guess that’s because it’s not that old, however I don’t know, I’m not an heating and A/C expert. I was just glad that our heating and A/C system was running wonderfully again and I learned from the heating and A/C professional that I should opt for air ducts cleaning every other year. If it keeps our air quality good and helps our heating and A/C perform efficiently, I don’t have a complication with following that advice.
