I don’t have a problem following the HVAC pro’s advice

I was really happy when I bought a home and had a brand new HVAC system installed.

I had new ductwork installed and everything.

Well, that was approximately a decade ago and more recently I started having trouble with air quality and my HVAC system seemed to be struggling. I thought it was odd because it was only ten years old. When I had an HVAC professional come out to tell me what was happening, he discovered that my ductwork system was clogged severely. He asked when was the last time I had my ductwork cleaned, and I realized that I never had that done. He said there were likely numerous clogs within my ductwork system and he advised immediately ductwork cleaning. He also said he would check the ductwork system and test the air pressure to see if I needed ductwork sealing as well. He explained that the ductwork sealing would ensure no leaks were occurring and I would save on the energy bills. Well, the ductwork cleaning improved the air quality in my home considerably and my HVAC performed like a champ again. I actually didn’t even need the ductwork sealing because surprisingly, the HVAC professional found no leaks in the ductwork system. I suppose that’s because it’s not that old, but I don’t know, I’m not an HVAC expert. I was just happy that my HVAC system was working great again and I learned from the HVAC professional that I should opt for ductwork cleaning every other year. If it keeps my air quality good and helps my HVAC perform efficiently, I don’t have a problem with following that advice.
