There have been cold spots popping up here and there in our house

There have been cold spots popping up here and there inside of our house, and we are definitely going to have to do something about it. This was something that I started noticing a few weeks ago when the temperatures outside started dropping.I was trying to figure out what the problem was, and so I started to do a little bit of research online. I have this HVAC blog that I follow sometimes because it has a lot of good information on it. I found out that cracks, holes, leaks, and poorly sealed air ducts are usually the main cause of cold spots in homes. The other thing that I thought was interesting is that these things are also considered to be the top energy waster in your home! If you have poorly sealed air ducts, then your heating and cooling is gonna basically go right out the window, so to speak. You end up paying for heating and cooling that you don’t even experience. I sure didn’t want that to happen, because my heating and cooling bills are high enough as it is. Holes and cracks in your ductwork can allow your cooled or heated air to leak out into spaces that you don’t even inhabit. I decided then I was gonna make an appointment with my HVAC company so they could come and eliminate the cold spots in my house. I don’t know what they’re going to do, but I want them to come and patch up any leaky ductwork that I might have. I really have to get rid of all of these cold spots!
