Every year, the supplier I work for selects multiple representatives to attend the heat & A/C product symposium.
About 300 heating dealerships attended this event.
It was a heating industry event that drew numerous companies. The event would turn into a nettoiling event. There were different speakers chosen to be in the panel for the event. These individuals were high-achieving professionals in the market. They had acclaimed outstanding awards. Every one of us got to the event a day early & headed to our rooms. I was section of a heating service team of 5. It was a really cold day & I was grateful for the boiler at the hotel the two of us stayed at. The next day, the two of us got to meet & see the panel at the symposium. They indeed were the” industry greats” with all their achievements. One panelist in particular interested me. This individual had won the Heating, Ventilation & A/C tech of the year, numerous years consecutively, but he knew he was around any type of electric furnace & would really have put together a heating system after taking it apart. I had researched him because our master’s project was centered on his work & his ability to solve concerns with these systems. I later found out that he worked for the same supplier that had done the furnace/heater installation of the radiant floors in our room at home. There was factual information that he had a hand in passing the rule to include an Heating, Ventilation & A/C service method involving replacing furnace filters for all customers novice or amateurs. After he spoke on the invention of wireless control units & the importance of heating system service, I made sure to go up to him. Every one of us chatted for a while & I could not know it.
