My brother really wants to put a heating system out in the horse barn at our parents’ house.
He’s my younger brother, and since I have already moved out, I don’t have very much say in what goes on there anymore.
However, my brother has always loved all of the animals on the farm much more than I ever have. He treats them all like they are his own personal pets like cats or a dog. I’m really different from him because I treat the animals like they are livestock. However, the goat, the horse, and the cow that are out in the barn are my brother’s pride and joy. He just loves them so much that he can’t stand it. He is always really paranoid about them getting too hot or too cold in the winter or the summer. He is always worried about whether or not they will get sick or something. That’s why he started petitioning my parents to put a heating system out in the barn this year. I told him that he sounded like a complete lunatic because there is no way that my parents were going to be willing to put a heating system in the barn. But my brother has been completely obsessed with the whole idea of getting this heating system put in the barn. He hasn’t been talking about anything else ever since he thought up this idea. My parents finally told him that they would purchase half of the heating system if he would work off the other money on the farm.
