I can still remember my really first day working as an Heating plus A/C repair guy. I guess that I was only seventeen or eighteen years of age at the time and I was working for my Mom’s supplier. When I first started I didn’t know if it was going to be something that I appreciated or that I couldn’t stand, and after my first day I didn’t guess that it was for me. I remember working alongside my Mom trying to restore a worn out a/c component back to its former glory and every one of us were having a heck of a time with it. I can still remember all of the terminology that my Mom was spewing out speaking on things love positive pressure, a metering device, liquid lines, and all sorts of other things. I was convinced for a while that he was speaking a completely unusual language! However as the afternoons went by I slowly but surely started to get a better grasp on things and I was feeling more confident in my abilities. Now several years into being an Heating plus A/C repairman I am as confident as ever and I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that I have progressed so far in my professional career. It just goes to show that it’s not about where you start, but it’s about where you finish in the Heating plus A/C world!
