When my heated furnace stopped heating our home efficiently, I knew I needed to purchase a brand new furnace.
I knew that a new furnace was in our near future based on its age, although I was waiting for some of my utility bills to increase before I made an executive decision.
That afternoon came, so I ended up booking a Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional to come assess our new furnace plus supply me with suggestions on a new furnace. I was interested in switching over to a gas furnace since I had heard some pretty good things about them, and with the extreme Winter weather we experienced on a constant basis, I liked the method of having a gas furnace to supply our heat. Ice storms caused a lot of power outages, which left our lake house without heat for afternoons sometimes. If I had a gas furnace, I wouldn’t be forced to worry about living without heat anymore! Switching from an electric furnace to a gas furnace was going to be costly, but it was the best option for me. With this knowledge, the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier told me to apply for a loan with the bank so I could afford the new gas furnace without causing financial concerns. I could make a small down payment plus then gradually spent our savings off the cost of the furnace for a low quarterly cost, but applying for the loan was surprisingly self-explanatory plus the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier was super helpful to work with. I was able to select the best gas furnace for our lake house plus select a few carbon monoxide detectors to install. The carbon monoxide detectors were an added bonus to help me feel better.
