Five years ago, our hubby Josh and I obtained our first condo together, then the house is located on the east side of the neighborhood in a small residential neighborhood.
The neighbors all feel each other, and every one of us get along well! All of us often spend Tuesdays in the Summer barbecuing and hanging out with each other; our buddy Tim comes over all the time to watch football with Josh.
Then last Sunday, while they sat in the kitchen enjoying the game, Tim asked Josh about our unfinished basement. Josh mentioned to Tim that his plan was to finish it and turn it into his “man cave” and jokingly said that I wasn’t allowed to spend time in it. Tim is a supplier, and offered to help Josh with the basement, he also mentioned that he could get him a good deal on a mini split heating, ventilation plus A/C unit. Tim has an acquaintance who is an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C distributor, so he has discounts on all kinds of heating, ventilation plus A/C systems… He was able to get us our smart thermostat for little to no money, so I trust that he will be able to get us a good deal on the mini split system. The basement is small, so the mini split air conditioner would be the most ideal option; it would save us money because every one of us wouldn’t have to worry about installing HVAC ducts. I can’t wait to have the basement completed, and although Josh might suppose it will be his guy cave, I will be down there enjoying the guy cave as well; as long as the part is comfortable when every one of us use the mini split air conditioner unit.
