For more than two decades, Mark has been living in the same lake house close to the same people.
If you would have told him when he was in his early twenties that he’d still be where he is instead of living on some charming island, Mark would’ve told you that you were crazy.
While there is no single thing, Mark can say the main reason that he’s still living in this small town is because of his amazing neighbors. All of them work hard, and are caring people. One of his friends is Jamie who is the owner of an AC business in town. In the more than two decades of living in this lake house, Mark has only needed to buy 2 new heating and cooling systems from them. He calls the AC business three times per year to have them out here for basic check ups and to keep his heating and cooling system working. Not only have they delivered high quality tasks during these past twenty plus years, the AC workers have been kind and polite to Mark and his family. He considers these guys as true friends and they are constantly welcome in his lake house, even if there isn’t an HVAC system related matter. Mark is aware there are things that he’s missing not living on some lavish island, however, being able to live in this amazing community is more than worth it.
