Skin condition requires me to need a good air conditioning system

I have eczema, meaning I have dry and itchy skin on different parts of my body, but mostly my lower legs and feet. My doctor has said that there is no real cure, and that I will most likely be dealing with this condition for the rest of my life. To combat this, I frequently go barefoot, crank the air conditioner in my apartment, and use location on the primary areas throughout the day. But since I am constantly using the air conditioning, it has recently started to randomly turn off after I have turned it on. It also will occasionally smoke from the back of the unit, so I have been looking for a replacement. I walked downtown yesterday in order to look for a replacement, and instead happened across our local HVAC organization. I asked them if they would be able to replace an air conditioning wall unit. Instead, they showed me the newest models of HVAC units, that have both heating and cooling capabilities. Both of the models that I saw were well under my budget, so I opted for the one that included smart thermostat technology, so that I can control the temperature from my phone! I am so pleased with this decision, as they also sent an HVAC tech to install it for me, and showed me how to control it and set it up with an app. That night, I was able to sleep through the night with the air conditioning on full blast, helping to keep my eczema skin comfortable.
