I have always wanted to add heated flooring to my home.
It just sounds love a good system.
You have electric heated mats under the tile plus it warms your floors. The heat doesn’t rise since it is an electric base. It doesn’t create hot plus frosty spots or polluted indoor air conditions due to no air being blown. Due to this, you can lower the temperature for the heated flooring plus save some money. Anything that is touching the floors feels hot as a result. The bed, chairs plus couch all assume love heated seats due to this. The plan operates silently too. There is no loud clicking on plus off that wakes you out of a dead sleep. There are no hot parts of the heating plan that can be dangerous to teenagers. As far as service goes, heated flooring systems aren’t too bad. You should have a heating specialist check it about once a year to make sure everything is good. Why wouldn’t someone want heated flooring? The cons I have found is that it does raise plus add weight to your new floors. Is the change in level a big deal to you? Another con is that you need to rip up your existing floors to put down this system. There is no way to save your rug or former tile. Also, if you install the heating plan wrong, you are done for. There is no way to access the heating plan after you close it in with flooring. You would be just sort of stuck with a faulty plan until you need new floors.
