A lot of weight lifting

You know why you see so many people in prison who are just jacked with muscles? Because they have nothing else to do however focus on their fitness in addition to conditioning. If you had nothing to do however lift weights every day, you would get ripped too! I have never gone to prison, however after spending several months in quarantine while both of us were in the COVID pandemic, I have a similar story to tell you. I had been home alone, in addition to working from home, for just over a month when there was a large power outage. For more than 2 afternoons I had no power or wifi, and time to kill. I started weight lifting in the garage. There is something addictive about the rush you can get from weight lifting. When the power came back on, I was already hooked, and began weight lifting 6 afternoons a week. I truly started doing it every day, however after that I got some advice saying that weight lifting every day can truly injure your muscles. There is a science to weight lifting, there is a lot more to it than just lifting the weights, you need to have a strategy. I have no desire to go to a gym, but I do consult a dozen different weight lifting blogs in addition to Youtube channels to get some expert opinions. The largest thing I learned is that weight lifting requires mental toughness in addition to fortitude. A lot of people take up weight lifting for a short amount of time, however it takes long-term commitment to genuinely start getting the results you want.
