I’m not for sure that my associate is keeping the temperature control cranked when it’s poker night but I have my suspicions.
There is a group of us who play poker about once a month, occasionally twice.
It’s the same crew for more than a decade now. Two men and 1 of the men in the group share the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of the office with me. Every one of us labor in different departments however the same office and corporation. The other men are buddies I’ve had since I was a kid. I grew up down here with all the air conditioning the south is known for. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I tried my hand at more than one northern winters. Not sure there is enough gas furnace power to have kept myself and others honestly warm. I was chilly all the time and we had state of the art residential Heating and Air Conditioning in that locale. I hurried right back to where I am now. So these games rotate houses. This 1 guy’s condo is hotter than most in the summer. And I keep my temperature control at 82 degrees during the peak heating hours of the day in the summer. My suspicions are that he does this to make us all less comfortable while playing poker. I’ve recently been to his condo for a small dinner celebration. That locale was the picture of Heating and Air Conditioning cooling and so wonderfully comfortable. So next time poker is at his house, I’m checking the temperature control and calling him out. Smart temperature control or not, I suppose I know what this dog is up to with the air conditioning when it’s poker night.
