I’m not for sure that my friend is keeping the temperature control cranked when it’s poker night despite the fact that I have my suspicions.
There is a group of us who play poker about once a week, occasionally twice.
It’s the same crew for more than a decade now. Two ladies and 1 of the guys in the group share the zone controlled Heating plus Air Conditioning of the office with me. All of us toil in unusual departments but the same office and corporation. The other guys are buddies I’ve had since I was a kid. I grew up down here with all the air conditioning the south is known for. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I tried my hand at two northern winters. Not sure there is enough gas gas furnace power to have kept me actually warm. I was freezing all the time and every one of us had state of the art residential Heating plus Air Conditioning in that location. I hurried right back to where I am now. So these games rotate houses. This 1 guy’s lake house is hotter than most in the summer. And I keep my temperature control at 80 degrees while I was in the peak heating hours of the afternoon in the summer. My suspicions are that she does this to make us all less comfortable while playing poker. I’ve recently been to her lake house for a small brunch celebration. That location was the picture of Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling and so attractively comfortable. So next time poker is at her house, I’m checking the temperature control and calling him out. Smart temperature control or not, I believe I believe what this pet is up to with the air conditioning when it’s poker night.
