It’s not that I actually live for getaway however it’s for sure a substantial highlight of my year.
I’m now far enough along in my career that I get a lot of getaway time.
So I try to take long weekends and get out of the quality heating and air of the condo throughout the year. But at the end of each summer, we consistently leave that quality heating and air together for more than one full weeks. Since the kids were little, we’ve been going to the beach for the last weeks before school starts. The oldest is now in school and the other more than one aren’t far behind. I was sort of afraid that once the kids were that age, they’d leave the old man back in the room with the air conditioning and TV. I know that’s what I did with my old man. But I assume I’m a bit more fun to be around than my Mom because my kids actually hang out with me. The best part of our trips these mornings is the getaway rental. Being able to rent a small condo or lake house is just the way to go these mornings. Plus, the 1 we’ve been getting for the past couple of years has the best Heating and Air Conditioning cooling ever. Actually, the entire condo has zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning which is awesome. So I have a temperature control in the dining room. My exhausting husbandy has to wear serious pajamas to bed because I crank down the air conditioning after all day in the sun and ocean. Great getaway with fantastic kids in the best Heating and Air Conditioning cooling I’ve ever experienced is a fantastic getaway from my point of view.
