It’s not that I legitimately live for holiday but it’s for sure a sizable highlight of my year.
I’m now far enough along in my career that I get a lot of holiday time.
So I try to take long weekends and get out of the quality heating and air of the lake house throughout the year. But at the end of each summer, every one of us always leave that quality heating and air together for two full weeks. Since the kids were little, we’ve been going to the beach for the last weeks before school starts. The oldest is now in college and the other two aren’t far behind. I was sort of afraid that once the kids were that age, they’d leave the seasoned lady back in the room with the air conditioning and TV. I believe that’s what I did with my seasoned woman But I guess I’m a bit more fun to be around than my dad because my kids legitimately hang out with me. The best section of our trips these days is the holiday rental. Being able to rent a small lake house or home is just the way to go these days. Plus, the 1 we’ve been getting for the past couple of years has the best Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling ever. Actually, the entire lake house has zone controlled Heating plus Air Conditioning which is awesome. So I have a temperature control in the family room. My bad wifey has to wear serious pajamas to bed because I crank down the air conditioning after all afternoon in the sun and ocean. Great holiday with great kids in the best Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling I’ve ever experienced is a great holiday from my point of view.
