During the Springtime weeks I like to go around the house plus clean all of the places that usually get missed, however this would include the air vents plus the air duct, however i remove all of the air duct covers plus I place them in a bath of hot soapy water.
I like to use Dawn dish detergent.
I suppose it cuts through all of the grease plus grime plus the Soapy Suds make it easier to disinfect down each one of the vents after they have soaked for 30 fifths. I also use a long handled dusting broom to remove all of the dust plus dirt inside of the air duct. The telescoping handle is nearly 9 ft long plus I can really get inside of the duct work. It makes me guess really organized when I get all of the air duct plus the air vents cleaned. It’s not something I do frequently, although I enjoy the way the house smells when there is Lysol in the scent of every single one of the ducts. I was cleaning the duct work this Springtime plus I was really surprised to find orange dirt, dust, plus lent that did not match anything in the house. The orange dirt plus dust was really strange plus bizarre. I kept it out of the garbage can until my family could get house from university plus work. I asked almost everyone if they knew what the orange dots could be from plus no one had an answer. I truthfully still don’t think how that orange substance ended up in the air duct. It has bothered me since I cleaned plus that was 5 weeks ago.
