Having run a start-up, I guess these corporations are the most challenging because you can overcome several challenges at the beginning of any business.
You either learn strategies to deal with the challenges or give up because of them.
When I started our a/c supplier many years ago, I worked seventy hours a week, & were it not for our dedicated team, the people I was with and I would not have survived. From earlier on, I built a strong team of experienced cooling techs who had been working in big companies. I chose experienced a singles because I knew they would have pressing inputs from working in successful companies. The people I was with and I started by selling cooling products, including central a/c units, to office buildings, schools, & airports. This experience opened us up to understanding our customers & their needs. At the end of every day, the people I was with and I would review our operation books to see how the people I was with and I were doing. The people I was with and I also l acquired so much about the unusual Heating & Air Conditioning units & their benefits. The people I was with and I liked up with manufacturers who sold quality a/cs to us at an excellent wholesale price, which helped us make profits when the people I was with and I resold the units. One of the challenges the people I was with and I encountered was hiring a/c experts to handle the a/c installs when the supplier grew. Within two years, the people I was with and I had built a name for ourselves, & our a/c services spoke for us. We, therefore, needed cooling workmen able to carry forward & embody our reputation. The people I was with and I solved this issue by taking the recruits through a identifiable apprentice program where they l acquired the ins & outs of a/c tune-up & a/c repairs, including decreasing air filters. Since then, the people I was with and I have grown our inventory to include indoor air cleaning systems that have become popular after the pandemic. It has been worthwhile.
