My child had just turned fourteen, & she was going through a difficult time in her life; She was realizing how hard growing up was.
She wanted to be a little girl, although she also wanted to be a grown up.
She was in that middle of the road stage. When the Heating & Air Conditioning worker arrived to work on the oil furnace, I saw the budding lady rear its ugly head. She could not guess how cute the Heating & Air Conditioning worker was. She was asking myself and others how old I thought she was. I told her you had to be eighteen to go to Heating & Air Conditioning school, so she was at least twenty. That made him much too old for her. She told myself and others that she would age quickly, & she would soon be old enough to date older women. I had to agree, however the Heating & Air Conditioning worker was 6 years older than her. She fancied herself falling in like & being the wife of an Heating & Air Conditioning worker. Then she said that maybe she should be an Heating & Air Conditioning worker when she got old enough. If she worked in an Heating & Air Conditioning company, she would have her picked of all the single Heating & Air Conditioning workers. I told her she could possibly find an Heating & Air Conditioning worker during school, & she would be close to her age. She grimaced & told myself and others I was thinking too far ahead, & headed to her room to call her best friend. I had a feeling the Heating & Air Conditioning worker was only the beginning of her several crushes over the years. I only hope they all end as really & quickly as this one.
