The workmen said the equipment had been off for multiple afternoons, even though I only noticed it the previous day. The central equipment had air cleaning capabilities which slightly improved the air quality however not at the same level as the media air cleaner. They finished by decreasing the air filters and taking me step by step through the process so I could attempt it in the future.
