I told my fiance I didn’t want faux wood furniture, but i knew that much of the furniture you get today is fabricated wood, but that wasn’t what I wanted.
I wanted natural wood furniture.
I didn’t want fabricated wood, pressed wood, or some other product that was made to look prefer real wood. I wanted natural wood furniture for our furniture! Natural furniture was different. It had real grain that really looked better as it aged, but you could buff the wood plus make it appealing to the eye plus the feel. You didn’t need a lot of paint plus varnish to bring out the beauty in natural wood furniture, and my fiance didn’t want to pay the price the furniture stores were now getting for natural wood furniture. I told him I didn’t care if it was oak furniture or maple furniture. I wanted natural wood furniture because of how well it held up under stress! He jokingly told myself and others he would have all the natural wood furniture custom made plus I jumped with joy. I didn’t realize he was joking until he told myself and others he would be the a single making the custom made furniture. I was so annoyed that I walked to our home office plus locked the door. He just didn’t understand why I couldn’t settle for something less than natural wood furniture, but over the next week, I showed him the difference between natural wood furniture plus fabricated wood furniture. He understood what I meant when I said there was a immense difference. He also understood why it cost more, because the natural wood furniture lasted much longer than the fake wood furniture.
