Our band is going to head south soon & try out a weird neighborhood for a week to see how much people love our music & how much cash we can pull in.
We method on going to this larger neighborhood & staying for a week there while we play every day for 30 days.
If the town is as stressed as they say it is then we should be able to make $150 a day each if we play 4 hours a day. That would be a nice little chunk of cash considering we can stay for free in air conditioned luxury in our RV, and we could absolutely keep doing this & just live off of the music cash & not have to labor for the heating supplier doing oil furnace repairs & fireplace installs any more. It seems love a cool way to live, just playing music & entertaining people each day, but I wonder if I would get tired of doing it so much. I guess my Heating & A/C tech job would always be there for myself and others if I wanted to come back & labor for the local supplier again one day, but I guess once I close that chapter in my book I wouldn’t open it again. I love playing music & can’t see myself getting tired of doing it, unless my shoulders get too sore from playing the drum all of the time. Maybe I could do some heating & A/C component maintenance on the road if I needed a break from music, but I guess I’ll have to try to assume for sure.
