It had been a long winter, plus I wanted to have our ductwork cleaned before the a/c component went into use, but i had a lot of dust in the house, plus I knew it was time to have the ductwork cleaned.
It had been about 3 years since the last cleaning plus it was due.
I called the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier plus asked them to send some ductwork cleaners to the home to disinfect plus sanitize the ductwork… Two days later, the professional ductwork cleaners were at the house, plus they were just getting into the inspection, but one of the several guys came upstairs plus asked if I would go into the basement with him. I went downstairs, plus he started pointed more than 2 sizeable holes in the ductwork. Some of them were giant enough that he could put several fingers through! He asked if I had spent a lot of currency on fuel that year. I had used more than usual, plus it was quite costly. He said that most of our heat was leaking out of the holes. He said that normally, they could repair the holes, however they were beyond the repair stage. The ductwork needed replaced. I told him I just wanted the ductwork cleaned, plus I hadn’t even considered having it replaced. He apologized plus said he had nothing to do with the rust plus he would gladly repair it if he could, but…I knew what that however meant plus I didn’t question him further. I asked if he could come up with a price plus have an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist come to the home that night, after our spouse was home.
