I knew I did not want to be employed at any business when I graduated college.

My vision was to create my own business and control my work.

I had fallen in love with the cooling industry since experiencing my dad as a cooling representative for years. Dad introduced me to the industry when I was a teenager. I would accompany him to many jobs when I was away from university. I first saw a quality air conditioning replacement when I was fourteen. It was fascinating to see how well the cooling techs worked and how efficiently they communicated to achieve the same goal: fixing the air conditioning. The best part about acompanying dad was seeing the homeowners smile when the team helped with indoor comfort. Knowing I had earned the necessary skills, I started my cooling business with my dad’s blessing. I learned more about air conditioning as that is where my interest was. I began by selling many Heating and Air Conditioning components and specialized in cooling units such as the mini chop air conditioning, my best seller. When I started the business, I had multiple employees. Now I am working with more than ten cooling specialists who help with homeowner requests such as air conditioning repairs. There was a rising demand for replacements and air conditioning repair when we sold the units, so we expanded our company to include services. My business was nominated as the most promising business in the city. The industry sees my potential, and so do I. I feel proud of what my team and I have overcome. My father cannot stop telling almost everyone who cares to listen that his child owns the most successful business in town.
