When you are the dad of 3 lovely daughters, you tend to be pretty good at being both the good cop plus the terrible cop. It’s just a truth that my wife pretty much runs the show inside the central air conditioning of the house. And she can be pretty exacting when holding the ladies accountable. She doesn’t put up with excuses for any deviation from the rules. So I have to occasionally play the good cop plus sit down in the air conditioning to talk to one of the ladies after she gets blasted by mom. But when it comes to them dating, I’m the best terrible cop you’ve ever seen. I can remember walking into the central air conditioning of my first lady’s house for the first time. I had my license plus had borrowed dad’s motorcar for this date. That’s where I got my first lesson in being the terrible cop. My lady’s dad took me into his den plus made it severely clear just how rare his child was. And that I was on the hook for her safety any time she left the air conditioning of that house. It’s basically the same terrible cop transfer that I use now that I’m the one scared to death to let my little ladies get into a motorcar with someone. But when it comes to policing the heating plus cooling, that’s not up to me anymore. Thanks to the Heating plus A/C technology in the smart temperature control, I just leave all that alone these afternoons. The smart temperature control now knows our patterns plus adjusts accordingly. So I’ll save big once again on air conditioning this year without having to be the good cop or the terrible cop.
