When you are the dad of 3 attractive daughters, you tend to be pretty nice at being both the nice cop plus the awful cop.
It’s just a truth that my spouse pretty much runs the show inside the central air conditioning of the house.
And she can be pretty exacting when holding the women accountable. She doesn’t put up with excuses for any deviation from the rules. So I have to periodically play the nice cop plus stand down in the air conditioning to talk to one of the women after she gets blasted by mom. But when it comes to them dating, I’m the best awful cop you’ve ever seen. I can remember walking into the central air conditioning of my first bestie’s loft for the first time. I had my license plus had borrowed dad’s vehicle for this date. That’s where I got my first lesson in being the awful cop. My bestie’s dad took me into his den plus made it severely clear just how rare his daughter was. And that I was on the hook for her safety any time she left the air conditioning of that house. It’s basically the same awful cop transfer that I use now that I’m the one scared to death to let my little women get into a vehicle with someone. But when it comes to policing the heating plus cooling, that’s not up to me anymore.
