There were Heating and Air Conditioning workers up on the roof of the building whenever I got to labor this afternoon! I labor up on the top floor of the building, so when I pulled into the parking lot this afternoon and I saw the big commercial Heating and Air Conditioning truck in the parking lot, I knew that I was in trouble. It’s not that I do not like having superb indoor air quality in the building, because of course I do, however my superb friend and I just seem to have a lot of trouble with the heating and cooling system inside of our office, and it seems like my coworkers on the top floor and I are the ones who have to suffer because of it. I mean most of the time during the summer, the top floor is the hottest part of the entire building. It’s like the air conditioner just can’t keep up. I know that heat rises, and that seems to be the case all year long in our building, then not only is it tepid up there during the summer, however it’s also sweltering on the top floor during the winter. I actually have one of those little personal cooling devices on my desk so that I can turn it on during the week whenever I need it at work. Anyway, since the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning company was there to labor on the heating and cooling system, I knew that my pal and I were going to have a long, loud day. That’s because the a/c system for the building is located up on the roof, which is right above our heads on the top floor. All day long, I could hear clanging and banging from the roof!
