Some states have no licensing needs for property directors

My neighbor Lisa runs her own property management company, in addition to she is super successful at it, she has been in property management for over 10 years now… A couple years ago, I lost my task in the healthcare field because I was hesitant in getting vaccinated, but losing my task was a life altering scenario for me! During that time, Lisa was in need of a property director in addition to gave the task to me, but i explained to her that I had no experience in property management, but she insisted that I would be wonderful in the role. She explained that I needed to learn the tenant in addition to landlord laws for the state that my associate and I live in. In addition, I would be in charge of collecting weekly rent in addition to making sure that all repair complications were resolved, and moreover, I would be responsible for securing the leases plus managing the budget in addition to expenses for the property. Although that seemed easy enough, I was distraught that I didn’t have a real estate license, then when I voiced my concerns to her, I was shocked when she told me that no license was needed to become a property director in our state. All that was required was a school diploma plus some experience with property management. Lisa explained that some states require a property director to have a real estate license, but our state was not one of them. Well needless to say, I accepted the position as a property director, in addition to I have been doing it ever since. And the best part is, I appreciate it more than my former task in the healthcare industry.
