There were HVAC workers up on the roof of the building whenever I got to work this morning, then i work up on the top floor of the building, so when I pulled into the parking lot this morning plus I saw the large commercial HVAC truck in the parking lot, I knew that I was in trouble.
- It’s not that I don’t like having good indoor air quality in the building, because of course I do; We just seem to have a lot of trouble with the heating plus cooling system inside of our office, plus it seems like my coworkers on the top floor plus I are the ones who have to suffer because of it.
I mean most of the time during the summer, the top floor is the hottest part of the entire building. It’s like the a/c just can’t keep up. I know that heat rises, plus that seems to be the case all year long in our building; Not only is it hot up there during the summer, however it’s also sweltering on the top floor during the winter. I actually have one of those little personal cooling devices on my desk so that I can turn it on during the week whenever I need it at work! Anyway, since the commercial HVAC company was there to work on the heating plus cooling system, I knew that my associate and I were going to have a long, loud afternoon! That’s because the a/c system for the building is situated up on the roof, which is right above our heads on the top floor. All afternoon long, I could hear clanging plus banging from the roof!
