The rainy weather has come to an end and that means beach time for me today as the weather prevented me from going yesterday.
I need to write some stories first before I can go anywhere.
This morning was a bit of a downer to be honest; my mother-in-law is in the apartment working on her computer, which means I can’t enjoy the morning in solitude. I think it’s normal that there’s an element of uncomfortableness between us, as I’m her daughter’s boyfriend and she’s my mother-in-law. Also, I perceive myself to not be very good at making small talk, and I always cringe inside myself whenever I force some words out of my mouth to make conversation. The cooling technician has come in this morning to sort out the a/c unit, which is great because having someone else in the house somehow alleviates the tension. This is why I’m glad that her boyfriend has moved in with us. He’s a really cool guy that works for a local HVAC provider; we get along very well, and he’s very funny and always joking, which helps to alleviate tension tremendously. Soon, I have to go out and buy some groceries at the supermarket with climate control. It’s lucky that my girlfriend and I are able to temporarily stay at my mother-in-law’s flat while we save money to buy an RV with awesome heating and cooling equipment, so we want her to see that we are cooperating and pulling our weight when it comes to household chores. That means helping out with cleaning, shopping, taking the dogs out, HVAC maintenance, and fixing anything that goes wrong in the house.
