I was really aggravated when my air conditioning component died.
It was only a year old, and there was no reason why the air conditioning component should have died.
I was pacing the house, waiting for the Heating and A/C specialist to arrive. I was going to show him my warranty and make sure she followed the warranty and repaired the air conditioning component for free, or got me a new one. I wanted to make sure there were no recalls on the air conditioning, that would affect the way it worked. A part of me knew I was being unsatisfactory, but I wasn’t going to let him pull any wool over my eyes. I was going into this A/C repair with my eyes wide open, and I was going to make sure she knew I was going to be taken. When the Heating and A/C specialist arrived, she asked what had happened to the air conditioning component and I told him. I told him about the warranty and how ancient the air conditioning component was. I also told him I had bought a service agreement when they installed the air conditioning unit. She told me she understood and she already had all the information in her pocket she had with him. She went outside and looked at the air conditioning. She came back inside with a puzzled look on her face. She went over to the thermostat to check it out. She asked me when I had last changed the batteries in the thermostat. I started to tell him I change them on January 1st every year. That’s when I remembered I had gone home to visit my parents this past Christmas. I had forgotten to change the batteries. My thermostat batteries died, along with the air conditioning.
