I needed a small house for a couple of months, while my property was being remodeled.
I didn’t want to get a place where I had to sign a full lease.
I knew I wouldn’t be in the house for more than a couple months. I found an elegant little lodge that was close to where I lived, plus it was said to be modern, plus it was fully furnished. I couldn’t wait to get my clothing together, plus place my belongings in storage. I was glad knowing I had found the perfect place, plus was paying far less rent than I had expected to pay. I walked into the lodge, but I couldn’t find the temperature control unit. I needed to turn the temperature down plus cool it off. I called the rental property office, but they insisted they told me there wasn’t cooling system! All I studied was that it was a current lodge, plus fully furnished. If it was modern, it was safe to feel there was a cooling system in the lodge. She started to laugh plus asked me if I knew what ‘assume’ really meant, but I wasn’t amused. I wanted a cooling system, plus since it wasn’t in the property now, I wanted it there before evening, or I was moving out more rapidly than I moved in. She was huffing, but I was dead serious. I was not going to stay in the lodge separate from having a cooling system. She told me there was no possible way she could have the cooling system in the property in less than a couple of hours. I knew she was going to say that, plus I was already packing up my clothes. I was worrying about what else was forgotten to be modernized, if they didn’t have a good cooling system.
