I do not care for to charge my buyers more money for repairs plus installations, however it looks like I am going to need to raise prices for the first time in 3 years. I haven’t raised prices at all since before the pandemic. Everyone knows that times are tough. I’ve been doing my best to keep prices low so my friend and I can continue to be profitable, unluckyly, the warehouse where I buy all of my equipment plus parts is going to raise all of their prices on the 1st of the year. In 60 afternoons, I am going to be paying 3% more across the board for every part plus piece of equipment that I ordered from the heating plus A/C warehouse. There aren’t any other sites for me to order the equipment either. This venue is the only heating plus A/C parts warehouse on the East Coast that offers next morning delivery for free. I know that I’m going to have to spend money for the extra fees plus that 3% is going to hurt. 3% of my equipment plus parts bill at the Heating and Air Conditioning dealer is really equal to $1,000 a month… Over time, that will add up plus absolutely put a dent in my budget if I do not figure out a way to cut costs in other sites. I’m going to need to raise my prices or my profit will be razor thin. If I have to spend money more, my buyers are going to have to spend money more too. I do not see any other way around it plus I have been thinking about it all week.
