I’ve lived in this seasoned condo for over a decade now & I suppose it’s time to make some changes.
I’ve been thinking about what I want to update first for a while now however now it’s time for action.
For starters, I don’t have a boiler in my condo & I just rely on space boilers to keep warm. I don’t use the boilers certainly often so I did not worry too much about putting in a boiler. But last week, I woke up in the middle of the night to find it chilly cold in the house. I had known that a cold front was coming through although I did not expect it to get this chilly cold. I plugged in my space furnace to hot up the condo however when the plug hit the outlet, it’s sparked & started a small fire in the carpeting. I had constantly known that space boilers could be dangerous although I did not know they could start a fire this way. The fire went out immediately, almost as soon as it started, however it still made me worry. I mean, what if a fire starts again. I decided to call up heating company the certainly next afternoon to look into central heating. They gave me a pretty great price. I suppose it’s worth it not to burn my condo down. Besides, after all these years, my condo is due for an update; Next, I want to replace the carpeting. It is also hot out & old. Now, it also has a burn mark too.
