My husband remodels homes for a residing, & he has been doing this for about 7 years now.
It’s great that he remodels homes because that can be a hefty cost, however for us the only thing that the people I was with and I need to pay for are the material, but and often, he gets a major discount from a local distributor in town.
Anyway, he began as a construction worker when he was 18, however a few years after, he decided that he wanted to go out on his own, so he started his own remodeling contracting service. It worked out well for him because he makes actually nice money remodeling houses. In fact, he just landed a major contract with a local property management business; They have about fifteen rental units that they need to remodel as soon as possible. Thankfully, my husband has a small crew that works with him, so they will be able to get the job done. This is one of the greatest contracts that he has gotten to date, however most of the remodeling that he has done over the years has been on residential properties. This commercial remodeling contract will absolutely open up some more doors for him, but currently, he works out of his office at home, however if his corporation continues to grow at this rate, he will need to find an office space soon. That is something that he will need to address in time, for now, I am just ecstatic that he is able to land major remodeling contracts. And the most exciting area is that he did this all on his own.
