I had been thinking about getting a heat pump for our home.
The plan was to update central heating plus be able to have something to heat the loft in the chilly winters that will save myself and others on energy use in order to save some cash! Now the toss up between all of this is that a heat pump is particularly luxurious, not to mention the cost of the upgrade for the heat pump… But after thinking about it plus weighing the cost of what I spend on electric bills every single Wintertide is it entirely chilly verses the cost of the heat pump plus the upgrade of the heat pump, in the long term, the heat pump will end up paying for itself.
That is how much energy use I will save by having this heat pump instead of having to use the central gas furnace. In the Summer for air conditioning to save cash has yet to be figured out other than buying a portable cooling system. But with as hot as it gets around here, the portable air conditioning plan would not be able to fight off the heat as central air conditioning could, so I am stuck with that it seems. But the heating is taken care of by way of purchasing a geothermal heat pump. I will be calling the local heat plus a/c corporation to order plus schedule the upgrade of the heat pump this coming week. I want this in our condo as soon as humanly possible as both of us have some real chilly weather coming.
