I could not believe when my central heating and air conditioning system broke down last.
It was on Christmas Eve right in the middle of a major cold front.
It was even going to be snowing the very next day. Because it was a holiday I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. But lucky for me after really thinking hard I remembered that I had a portable space heater in my garage that I had not used in a very long time. I went and pulled out the portable space heater to test it and thankfully it worked! So I would be able to survive in my home with the freezing cold temperatures if I took the portable space heater and cranked it within any room I was in. Then after the holiday I could call the local heating and air conditioning company to send out a certified heat and a/c specialist to repair my central heating and cooling system unit. It was a good thing that I wasn’t the one to be cooking dinner and hosting family gathering this year! Otherwise I would have had to cancel out and have someone else do it because a portable space heater would not work very well if the house was packed full of people. It only works well with me and my wife here. I was able to get my central heating and air conditioning system repaired the very next day after Christmas and all was working fine again by that afternoon time.
