I was really happy when I obtained a home and had a brand up-to-date heating and A/C idea installed! And I had up-to-date HVAC duct installed and everything, but well, that was approximately a decade ago and more recently I started having trouble with air quality and our heating and A/C idea seemed to be struggling.
I thought it was bizarre because it was only several years old.
When I had an actual heating and A/C professional come out to tell me what was happening, he discovered that our HVAC duct idea was restrained severely; he then asked when was the last time I had our HVAC duct cleaned, and I realized that I never had that done. He said there were likely many clogs within our HVAC ducts and he immediately advised HVAC duct cleaning. He also said he would check the HVAC ducts and test the air pressure to see if I needed HVAC duct sealing as well. He explained that the HVAC duct sealing would ensure no leaks were occurring and I would save on the energy bills. Well, the HVAC duct cleaning improved the air quality in our home considerably and our heating and A/C performed akin to a champ again. I honestly didn’t even need the HVAC duct sealing because surprisingly, the heating and A/C professional found no leaks in the HVAC duct system. I guess that’s because it’s not that old, however I don’t know, I’m not a nearby heating and A/C expert. I was just happy that our heating and A/C idea was now working wonderfully again and I learned from the heating and A/C professional that I should opt for HVAC duct cleaning every other year. If it keeps our air quality great and helps our heating and A/C perform efficiently, I don’t have a problem with following that advice.
