It isn’t like the people I was with and I was thinking about a central air conditioner whenever the people I was with and I were warm. The humidity plus the heat were just a fact of life. The people I was with and I didn’t even think that the people I was with and I would have to worry about it! Our bodies are amazing things, plus the people I was with and I are able to adapt to anything that life throws at us. In fact, the actual shock came when I traveled to the US for my college studies. I found out that each of the college dorm rooms had a small air conditioner, plus the college students that were born in the US were accustomed to using the air conditioner all the time! During the summer, I was used to the heat, but instead of heat, the air conditioner made me completely miserable. I have never been chilly during the summer. I especially had a difficult time sleeping when the air conditioner was running. I finally understood why the other students had heavy blankets in their beds. The people I was with and I never needed blankets when the people I was with and I didn’t have an air conditioner, and however, over the years, I have grown used to the central air conditioners, plus I might entirely also have a difficult time returning to my beach home country.
