Well, there goes my hope for getting any kind of cooling relief this summer.
Let me rewind back a bit and explain my situation.
So, a few weeks ago I noticed my air conditioning system was starting to have trouble again. This was very frustrating because I had just had a HVAC specialist out a few months ago, who examined it and told me that it worked fine. Granted, it could have looked perfect to him, because this A/C unit has a history of looking fine but breaking down for some reason. I have been wanting to get a new A/C unit for awhile now, a new central air conditioner to be exact, but getting a brand new HVAC installation is just not affordable for me right now. So instead, when my A/C machine finally did break down, I decided that enough money was spent on it, and I was going to go online and buy a window air conditioning system. I had a window A/C growing up, and it always did a fine job of keeping the home cool enough, something was definitely better than nothing. However, when I went on their website, they didn’t have their window air conditioners listed for some reason. Then I remembered the cooling store a few miles away from my home, and I decided to buy a window air conditioner there. But when I arrived, the HVAC store was closed for an unspecified amount of time. Obviously I am not meant to stay cool this summer.
