When the last customer left, I was getting ready to remove my apron because it was getting hot.
The reading on the thermostat told me that something was wrong. I reset it and continued preparing my cakes. The situation did not change, and it was too late to call the air conditioning company for a/c repair. I decided to call my partner, who happens to be an a/c representative, to bring me a fan from home. By the time he came, I had stripped down to a pair of shorts and a tank top. He set up the fan and checked the air conditioner installation. According to him, everything about the air conditioner looked normal. Luckily he had brought his tools, and he could check the inside of the system to find out what was wrong. The best part of having a partner who worked for an air conditioning business was that you get free any a/c service, including a/c care. My partner took care of our annual air conditioning maintenance. A different air conditioning supplier did the HVAC installation at the bakery because he was out of town. We have never been behind on our a/c care plan, and I have my very able a/c worker for that. Our indoor air quality is the envy of all our friends. As for replacing and purchasing a new air conditioning filter, I could easily clean or replace it, but he feels better when he does it for me.
