I entirely think that the most awful fortunes come in more than twos, however when I was a child growing up, our Grandmother Pat consistently used to tell me that this would be the case, although I never entirely believed her, but then I was an adult and I was never absolutely superstitious at all… However, the longer I am alive, the more I see that our Grandmother Pat was genuinely right about things such as this, and he consistently said that if something awful happened to me, after that I should stay on the lookout for two other things that were going to happen too, but maybe it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy, or maybe it’s something else, but this is exactly what has happened to me over the past few years.
I have found that this is exactly what happens around the lakeside house when something tears up. The other afternoon, our garage door tore up & I could not get our auto out of the garage without lifting up the garage door manually. That was a huge pain in the butt & a huge expense to get fixed. Shortly after that, our stove stopped entirely working & I needed to buy a current stove! Of course, I was on the lookout for something else truly awful that was going to happen & sure enough, our central air conditioner stopped working entirely. I tried to adjust the thermostat levels & no matter what I did, the temps in the lake house would not start cooling off. I realized that the central air conditioner breaking down was the third thing on our list & I just provided up & called the Heating & Air Conditioning tech. I hope that the cycle doesn’t start up again any time soon because that air conditioning system repair required the rest of our currency!
