The tender that set our air con business on the upward course

I had the junior cooling techs inform the management about the air conditioning service

The air conditioning business suffered a massive setback because of the effects of the pandemic. However, last year, we received a tender that altered the course of operations and brought the company out of the red. I saw an advertisement in the papers about a tender to install air conditioning in a chain of hotels. The interested companies would send in their applications, and whichever one the hotel management liked would receive the million-dollar tender. It would cost us nothing to get the tender, so I applied. I could not believe my eyes when I received an email a few weeks later confirming that we had received the tender. We started operations by assessing the HVAC units in the different hotels. We then listed them in priorities. We started with the hotel that had the least effective unit. The hotel management had requested we have the same cooling products in all hotels within the same locale. The quality air conditioner preferred was the central air conditioning unit. In my opinion, this unit was a good choice for the hotels in my area. My air conditioning experts split themselves into different teams so we could get the work done promptly and effectively. We also got a request from the hotel management to add an indoor air cleaning system to keep the air free from pollutants, especially now that we live in a post-pandemic world. The fitting work took about two weeks for each hotel in the locale. I had the junior cooling techs inform the management about the air conditioning service. It includes frequent air conditioning repairs and the required annual air conditioning tune-ups. The cooling workmen also showed the hotel maintenance how to change the air filters to maintain the air quality.
