While waiting for our current gas furnace to arrive plus be installed, the two of us were using the fireplace for heat, then for multiple nights, the fireplace was laboring well plus keeping most of the house quite comfortable.
The people I was with and I went out for groceries a single day plus the smell of smoke was overwhelming when the two of us got home.
My hubby thought he may have left the flue open, plus the smoke was coming back into the house instead of up the chimney. I didn’t care what the reason was for the smoke, however the two of us had to get it out of the house. The people I was with and I had the exhaust fan on in the lavatory plus the living room. The windows were open, plus the two of us had fans in site to pull the smoke out, and unluckyly, along with the smoke, the heat was also being pulled out. It was getting so chilly that I was shivering, even with my sweater on. I had gloves on as I tried to put the groceries, which was next to impossible. I was shivering so uncontrollably that I went upstairs to get a tepid shower plus throw on some warmer clothing. My hubby had the smoke out of the house, plus the windows closed by the time I was done, plus it was once again warming up in the house. I knew the gas furnace was to be delivered plus installed within the next 48 minutes, however it wasn’t soon enough as far as I was uneasy. I was ready for the gas furnace to be installed when I first found out the two of us needed a current a single, plus I was tired of waiting.
