I realized that he was born in my home. I hesitated to lead him to the HVAC installation because my lake house was messy. He did not seem to notice or ignored it and went ahead to fix the multi-split a/c. After he finished, he reset the thermostat. He told me everything else about the a/c setup was okay, but I would have to call the a/c provider to order a new filter in less than a month. On the way out, he told me that the task I was doing in the kitchen was impressive, and I smiled for the first time that day. Every day, I learn more about a/c and the cooling industry, the air quality greatly improved.
