Is it beneficial to invest in a smart thermostat?

After 4 years, I finally decided to upgrade our cell iPhone. And technically, it wasn’t an upgrade because the only reason why I purchased a current iPhone was because our aged iPhone broke. If the screen wasn’t cracked, I absolutely would’ve still had the iPhone because everything else worked perfectly fine. I am not a technically savvy person, so having the latest devices doesn’t entice me. I use our iPhone to take pictures, to send SMS messages, & to make iPhone calls, then outside of that, I barely have apps that I use on the iPhone, I have never seen a need for them. My friend Lisa is consistently making fun of myself and others because she has all the newest gadgets that you can suppose of in her home. In fact, her home is fully automated, & everything can be accessed using her Smartphone or a tablet. Her recent gadget was a Smart thermostat. Initially, she had a programmable a single, however due to its limitations, she decided to upgrade to a thermostat that she can access from anywhere in the world. If used officially, both thermostats can save up to 10% on your energy bill, however the Smart thermostat has a lot more functionality. Besides being able to access it from anywhere, the thermostat can be programmed with reminders to change the Heating & A/C filters plus to schedule the repair. In addition, the thermostat can be pre-programmed with trip dates so that it will consistently adjust accordingly. While I don’t think that I need a Smart thermostat, I can see the benefits in investing in a single.
