It had been a tough pregnancy but I was grateful.
It was my first and I was sick and bedridden six months out of the nine.
When I could not wait any longer, I took myself to the hospital to be induced. The birth of my son was the most beautiful experience and he was the most handsome baby to ever be born. His little eyes sparkled, even when he cried. I had gone through the pregnancy alone, except for my family and friends. I also lived alone until I went to the hospital. When I came home, my sister had moved in and I had a new electric heating system. This was a surprise because the heater I had left in the house before going to the hospital was in bad shape. This boiler would make weird noises all through the night and drove me crazy. I was spending loads on all the heating repairs. The heat and AC products were becoming very expensive because of the new technology used in the heating industry. My family had raised money for my heated floors. I was so happy that I did not have to deal with regularly changing the furnace filters. They also upgraded my regulator to a wireless thermostat from the local heating dealership. The HVAC service plan provided by the HVAC tech stated that the only heater maintenance needed was if necessary. I would not need to tune up the equipment after the furnace/heater installation. The first few weeks with the baby were rough but I slowly eased into being a parent. The new heating devices helped in providing adequate comfort.
