I have the most fascinating HVAC tech

Popular culture and social media have become so saturated with political lunatics that it reflects poorly on everyone. I am a patriot, I love America, but it’s hard to find things to love when you read some of the things our politicians say. This isn’t a blog about politics, I think we all need a break from that. I wanted to tell you about my friend Jenny, and how she embodies everything great about America to me. Jenny is an immigrant, who moved here from Cuba about ten years ago. Jenny came here to find opportunities and to build a family and a career. Jenny worked as a maid during the day, and at night she took HVAC classes at the local community college. She enrolled in a program that would lead her to being HVAC certified, because she knew that was her best path to success. The HVAC program cost only a fraction of what it would cost to attend a 4 year university, and she was able to schedule her classes around her full-time job. By the time she had achieved her HVAC certification she had several job offers on the table. She was able to quit her job as a maid and make ten times the money with a career as an HVAC tech. She is able to provide for her family like she never has before, and this inspires me. How do I know all this? Jenny is my personal HVAC tech, and every time she comes over I make a pot of tea and talk about her life.
