Running app is great motivation

One of my favorite workouts is going for a run. I like the simplicity of it. I don’t need a lot of extra gear. As long as the weather permits, I simply lace up my sneakers, warm up my muscles and head out. I have invested into a high quality pair of running shoes with sufficient support to protect my feat. I’ve added a variety of clothing to my wardrobe to combat heat, humidity, rain, wind and cold temperatures. I’ve figured out the most enjoyable paths to navigate around my local area. I have specific routes I choose when I’m in the mood to cover ten miles and appreciate the scenery. There are routes that incorporate challenging hills and others that are smooth, flat and encourage a faster pace. Running is a great opportunity to breathe fresh air, get my heart pumping and promote healthy lungs. The high impact aerobics burns a tremendous amount of calories and is ideal for building strong muscles and improving stamina. I use a long run as a chance to listen to my favorite music, focus my thoughts and get into a positive mindset. However, because I run so often, the workout can become a bit repetitive and tedious. I can easily become a bit lazy. Just recently I came across an app that was free to install on my smartphone. It’s a running based app that tracks my distance, pace and calories burned. It motivates me to beat my personal best. As I’m running, a voice cuts into my music and lets me know my speed and miles covered.
