There were Heating & A/C workers up on the roof of the building whenever I got to work this afternoon; I work up on the top floor of the building, so when I pulled into the parking lot this afternoon & I saw the big commercial Heating & A/C truck in the parking lot, I knew that I was in trouble. It’s not that I do not care for having nice indoor air quality in the building, because of course I do, my associate and I just seem to have a lot of trouble with the heating & cooling system inside of our office, & it seems like my coworkers on the top floor & I are the ones who have to suffer because of it. I mean most of the time during the summer, the top floor is the hottest part of the entire building. It’s like the a/c just cannot keep up. I know that heat rises, & that seems to be the case all year long in our building. Not only is it sizzling up there during the summer, but it’s also sweltering on the top floor during the winter. I certainly have one of those little personal cooling devices on my desk so that I can turn it on during the week whenever I need it at work, however anyway, since the commercial Heating & A/C corporation was there to work on the heating & cooling system, I knew that my nice friend and I were going to have a long, loud afternoon… That’s because the A/C system for the building is located up on the roof, which is right above our heads on the top floor. All afternoon long, I could hear clanging & banging from the roof!
